Hirsch Racing was founded on a simple conviction: chiptuning and performance work are not a volume business with generic files but genuine software engineering. Since 2012 we have been developing vehicle-specific software for diesel and petrol engines – from classic Stage 1 through Stage 2 to DSG optimisation, DPF off, EGR off and VMAX removal. From our workshop in Ostrach on Lake Constance we today serve customers, dealers and workshops across Europe.
Every optimisation starts from the data of the actual vehicle: engine code, ECU, software version, transmission and usage profile. We calibrate boost pressure, torque model, injection and protection functions within the factory reserves – lambda, exhaust temperature and component limits stay plausible. The result is a noticeable but everyday-capable power gain that is thermally clean and documented. The original software is backed up before any work; every optimisation is fully reversible.
Besides power increases, our OEM activations unlock functions already stored at the factory – for example on Land Rover Defender, Range Rover and Discovery. With MapEV we bring performance to modern electric platforms such as the Porsche Taycan and Audi e-tron GT. And through our Fileservice we supply tuners and workshops with tested solutions for EDC17, MD1 and MG1 ECUs. Whether Defender, Range Rover, Porsche, Audi RS, BMW M or Mercedes AMG: our standard is vehicle software at manufacturer level.
